OUR HISTORY & MISSION
Assisting Angels was founded 10 years ago when the company’s Chief Operating Officer was in need of some non-medical assistance for his dad. His father was living by himself and finding it more difficult on a daily basis to handle day to day tasks. During that time, his dad was in need of someone to check on him because he had stopped eating and was not getting dressed. On top of those daily demands he was also feeling lonely and in need of companionship. Unfortunately the only agencies available at the time were nursing agencies and they would not provide the non-medical assistance that his dad was in need of.
The company‘s goal of providing quality and reliable care in Western New York for your loved one at home remains the same today as it was when the company began. We understand that it is a difficult decision to invite someone unfamiliar into your home. This is the reason we place so much of an emphasis on selecting only the best caregivers available. Since we are devoted to our clients’ needs we pride ourselves on providing a caregiver and an individualized senior care plan that is appropriate for each client.
